The Medical Laboratories Fryda perform some 700 analyses/ determinations on daily basis, as well as over 200 individually, either for specific contracting parties or in case of various examination campaigns. Each analysis performed by the laboratory is subject to quality control.

The quality control in the Laboratory consists of several stages. Internal control takes place at the work-stand.  It is documented by precise systemic procedures. Various techniques are applied, depending upon the type or character of the determination or analysis being subject of control, lengths and frequency of a series of determinations, measuring apparatuses, durability of control material, and the like. The results of that control are subject to continuous monitoring carried out by the Agent Responsible for Quality, and Head of the Laboratory.

Supplementing the internal laboratory control is the inter-laboratory quality control. That consists of participation in programmes organised by specialised units, which at specified time intervals send the control material to the Laboratory. The Laboratory, not knowing the correct results, would make the suitable analyses and determinations, subsequently sending the results to the entity responsible for the quality control programme. There, the obtained results are compared and processed in statistical analysis.

For a few years now, the Medical Laboratories Fryda have been obtaining results in the top of the ranking of Polish laboratories. At the same time, we keep increasing the number of quality control programmes, in which we participate, covering with them as wide a range of analyses and determinations as possible. At present, we take part in the following programmes:

·          Instant

·          POLMICRO,

·          Euroimmun,

·          Quality control by Bayer Company

·          Łódź quality control.

Certificates obtained are a confirmation of taking part in those programmes, and of the competencies of the Medical Laboratories Fryda in the areas covered by those programmes.
