The outsourcing of laboratory services enjoys enormous interest not without reason. For a hospital this proves to be an opportunity of substantial cost cutting, as the costs of running a laboratory are gone (what is left is the charge for the investigations, which are much easier to control), also dropped is the cost of personnel, while every month the hospital earns the rent for the premises. Those savings cannot be denied.

Within the framework of our offer we suggest installation of modern IT system in the laboratory, together with software (programme) for the laboratory operation. That software, making use of bar codes, connects work stations with apparatuses, printers, as well as hospital wards, where results of investigations/analyses can be viewed. A more detailed description of the system is included. Moreover, we install modern equipment, provided with suitable certificates. A quality assurance system has been implemented, allowing the certification of a given unit in future. To meet the requirements of hospitals we provide a closed blood sampling system.

First of all, however, we are obliged to refurbish the rented premises and to make them compliant with the requirements of the Minister of Health. We have our own policy regarding that issue, which implies providing a high standard of the refurbished rooms, often exceeding much the expectations of the hospital.

What do we offer to the personnel we take over?

In line with the stipulations of the competition specification, as well as article 23’ of the Labour Code (KP), the bidder shall take over the existing personnel of the laboratory. The staff would take employment with our Laboratory, under identical conditions to those existing in the present employment. We guarantee employment to all personnel, as well as timely payment of salaries, in line with the work regulations. As employer, nowhere do we delay salary payments.

We have a social fund in our Firm, which comprises the entire staff. For persons willing to participate we finance external training sessions, which develop skills and knowledge of the personnel. Besides external training, we also run an internal training programme, which covers a wide range of topics, from the procedures of the quality assurance system to selected analytical methods.

Besides training, each employee may enhance her/his education level (specialisation, etc.), which results in salary increments stipulated in the remuneration rules and possibilities of getting promoted. The firm provides bonuses for results achieved through self-reliant activities, we have a personnel assessment programme, which has a bonus system attached to it.

Moreover, we organise integration meetings and training sessions for employees, we provide possibilities of foreign language training. The social fund is used, among other things for organising trips abroad for employees whose length of employment exceeds 5 years. Implementation of the IT system and automation of the diagnostic process significantly improve the working conditions of our staff.
