The Medical Laboratories Fryda were established in 1989. At present they are the leader at the Silesian market, and one of the four biggest laboratory chains in Poland, making over 3 million determinations a year.
From the beginning of its existence the Company has been focused on quality and reliability of results. The results of quality control investigations, in which the laboratory participates put the Medical Laboratories Fryda in the top of Polish laboratories.

The employment, as of August 2007, was some 200 people, including numerous specialists in microbiology and medical analysis.

The main profile of the laboratory activities concerns the delivery of reliable results to all patients - clients of the Company, via continuous enhancement of the quality of services provided, and modernisation of analytical equipment.

Additionally, the Medical Laboratories Fryda offer services in the area of running hospital and outpatient clinic laboratories, that is the so-called outsourcing of laboratories.

Until today, we have been entrusted with those services by the hospitals in Katowice, Jastrzębie Zdrój, Zabrze, Myszków, Sosnowiec, Końskie, Rawicz, Lwówek Śląski, Warszawa, Augustów, Ozimek. Those laboratories undergo refurbishment to a very high standard, and are adjusted to the requirements of the Ministry of Health, being provided with state-of-the-art equipment and IT system.

In each laboratory, quality assurance system is in place, complying with the norms ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 15189, as well as the principles of Good Laboratory Practice.
